A stretcher installed across a block of economy or business-class seats on a scheduled airline, used for medical repatriation when clinically safe.
Commercial stretcher flights are arranged via the airline's medical desk. The stretcher is installed under a privacy curtain across 6–9 seats and the medical escort travels alongside.
It is the most cost-effective option for long-sector repatriation of clinically stable patients who cannot sit upright but do not require ICU-level support.
